AN INDENTURED PATH TO FREEDOM
Blurb:
Hugh White, a young Scotsman who takes up the cause of King James, is captured at the Battle of Preston. He is transported across the Atlantic and sold into indentured servitude in colonial America.
Far from Scotland and everything he has ever known, Hugh struggles to endure a life he never chose. His circumstances turn desperate when he falls into the hands of the brutal Daniel Reddick.
Desperate for freedom, Hugh escapes into the Pennsylvania wilderness. Far from the life that has held him captive, he begins to believe freedom may finally be within his reach.
But Reddick has no intention of letting him go. With his former master closing in, Hugh must risk everything for his freedom and the chance to build a life of his own.
